My family and I have had the privilege of experiencing nearly every cut of beef from G-Bit Ranch. I have to say, that we are now officially spoiled. In the past it has been extremely difficult for me to find beef that I grew up raising on our farm. Because of G-Bit Ranch, I know I can buy not only delicious top quality beef from them, but, because I have had the opportunity to get to know Phillip Bodjanac, I also know I am purchasing beef that was raised and cared for in a way that is not only humane but compassionate. You simply can't go wrong with their beef.

I bought a ¼ carcass from G-Bit Ranch, which yielded meat in various forms: ground meat, steaks, and stewing beef.

My wife prepared each dish with our usual recipes, and the flavor of G-Bit Ranch beef was superb. I am not a beef connoisseur by any means, but I ate enough beef in my lifetime to appreciate the rich taste of grass-fed, grain-finished steaks—from the blackened charred edges to the juicy marbling. The burgers we made from G-Bit Ranch ground beef were also like in a fine restaurant—quality which can’t be compared to store bought beef patties that taste like cardboard when grilled. My wife also prepared our traditional Hungarian “paprikas” from the stewing beef, and the richness of this beef flavor was very different from the bland taste of store-bought beef. She commented that prior to G-Bit Ranch, she had to add a lot of beef bouillon to our “paprikas” to get the dish to taste somewhat like back home; but with G-Bit Ranch stewing beef, the dish was full of flavor, the meat very soft and super tasty.

We also realized that the meat industry is changing more and more, and the thing that occurred to us is that the store bought beef is from cows that are fed primarily corn; and today 90% of corn is GM (Genetically Modified). We try to stay away from all GM foods, and this includes the meat we buy. Overall, my wife and I were very pleased with our purchase and will buy from G-Bit Ranch again in the near future.

We have bought meat from you for the last three years but this year’s batch was the best. It was lean and extremely juicy. It grilled up to perfection. It was very tender and you could cut it very easily. The taste was even better than steaks from the most famous, like Mortons and Elways.

We had G-Bit’s huge, thick marbled chuck roast in the slow cooker while I was at work all day and expecting company for dinner.
